What gets collected

The site runs behind Cloudflare, which keeps ordinary server logs for a short time to block abuse: IP address, browser string, which page was requested. There are no analytics scripts, no ad networks and no social media pixels on any page. The two typefaces load from Google Fonts, so Google sees your IP address when it sends the font files.

Accounts

Accounts are by email request. What gets kept is the address you wrote from, the username you asked for and the home port you gave. The member list is not sold or handed over to anybody, including the boat dealers and brokers who have already asked.

Posts

Posts are public and other members quote them. To get one edited or removed, write in from the address you registered with and give the thread and the post number. A quote of your post inside somebody else's reply stays, because it's part of their post.

Cookies
